Managing domain names is not hard. Really. You can do it yourself. You register your domain name at any one of dozens of popular domain registrars. The price will be anywhere from a little less than US$10.00 to more than US$45.00 for a standard .com domain. You set the nameservers so your domain name connects with your website, which can be hosted at the same place, or elsewhere, as you please.
You will have to set certain other parameters such as defining who owns your domain, who manages it, and who takes care of your financial obligations. You can register multiple years in advance or pay for annual registration each year if you prefer. There are a few other things you have to take care of from time to time but mostly you are done. That's it.
So, why would you want to pay me to look after this for you? Well, for some, their eyes glaze over at anything remotely technical -- and this is one of those things. For others, they just do not want to be bothered with tasks like this. Whatever the reason, I can help.
I charge US$35.00 per year to handle the whole process including paying the registration fee for most standard domains. Some special domains or specific top level domains (TLDs) -- those extensions after the dot on the right end of the domain name, like com, net, org, biz, etc. will have an extra charge. And no, that last one isn't a TLD. It's the short form of etcetera which means all the rest.
For that one low price I will look after it all; configuration, nameservers, renewals, and the rest of it. I do it all the time so it is easier form me. Use your time to build your business, serve your customers, and work with clients. Apply your time valuably you can make much more than this will cost you.
I manage your domain in my own domain registry account simply for safety and convenience. The domain remains accessible to you and you can cancel your involvement in this program at any time and take back control of your domain in your own registrar account. I will even help you move the domain from my account to yours. No strings attached.
